v1.3.1 Latest
Oct 29, 2026
AI explanations now take follow-up questions, and scans stop asking for access over and over.
- Ask follow-up questions in AI explanations: when an explanation finishes, pick a suggested question or type your own, such as "What is it for?" or "What happens if I delete it?". Up to eight per item.
- More accurate app explanations: the model now sees the app's own usage descriptions, such as why it asks for a folder, instead of guessing a role from its name, and answers no longer mention the old product name.
- Large Files and Duplicate Files no longer list files managed by developer tools such as the Go module cache, Homebrew or Conda. They can't be deleted one by one and removing them breaks builds; use the matching Deep Cleanup item. Failed deletions now say why.
- Scans no longer keep asking to access data from other apps: without Full Disk Access they skip other apps' data and explain how to allow it.
- WashBear now has a stable code signature. After updating, turn WashBear on once more in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access (if it's listed, switch it off and on); future updates keep the grant.
